2018, make it interesting, make it uncomfortable

I’ve been wanting to take this photo for a long time. It may lack artistic flare and depth but it represents the start of a journey. It represents new languages, cultures, adventures and friendships that will come into my life over the next 5 weeks. Every exciting experience coupled with the many hard and uncomfortable moments will make this trip unique and special and hopefully see me wiser and more tuned in. We live in a world where technology has made the world virtually smaller and augmented, but getting on that bus, buying that ticket and jumping from your comfort zone and from familiarity can never be replaced.
